一、內(nèi)容及分析
本單元以生活中發(fā)生的有趣事情及富有科普意義的不明飛行物UFO作為話題，其語(yǔ)言功能是談?wù)撨^(guò)去發(fā)生的事情，學(xué)會(huì)講故事，進(jìn)而培養(yǎng)學(xué)生熱愛(ài)科學(xué)、探索科學(xué)、熱愛(ài)生活的情感。是在學(xué)習(xí)了一般過(guò)去時(shí)態(tài)和現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài)的基礎(chǔ)上，通過(guò)講故事的方式，學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)去進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài)，繼續(xù)鞏固一般過(guò)去時(shí)態(tài)，學(xué)習(xí)when、while引導(dǎo)的時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句，進(jìn)而加深對(duì)一般過(guò)去時(shí)態(tài)和過(guò)去進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài)意義的理解和應(yīng)用。

本單元的主要目標(biāo)是學(xué)習(xí)掌握過(guò)去進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài)，鞏固應(yīng)用一般過(guò)去時(shí)態(tài)，學(xué)會(huì)講故事或描述身邊發(fā)生的事情，它是在學(xué)生已經(jīng)學(xué)習(xí)了現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài)和一般過(guò)去時(shí)態(tài)的基礎(chǔ)上繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)的。對(duì)于八年級(jí)的學(xué)生，學(xué)生已經(jīng)有了一定的詞匯量，特別是要用好多的動(dòng)詞，學(xué)生有了一定的基礎(chǔ)，這樣便于教學(xué)內(nèi)容的突破；更好的是教材選編了一些富有科普意義的UFO，更能激發(fā)學(xué)生的好奇心和學(xué)習(xí)興趣，所以本單元的學(xué)習(xí)，學(xué)生應(yīng)該能輕松的掌握。

教材Section A 3a、3b繼續(xù)圍繞“UFO”這一主題展開(kāi)教學(xué)活動(dòng)，通過(guò)短文閱讀，任務(wù)驅(qū)動(dòng)的方式，進(jìn)一步感知UFO的發(fā)展過(guò)程，然后根據(jù)閱讀，復(fù)述故事的發(fā)生過(guò)程。Section B 3通過(guò)閱讀回答問(wèn)題的方式，訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的閱讀能力。因此本節(jié)課的訓(xùn)練目標(biāo)是培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的閱讀以及復(fù)述故事的能力，為了本節(jié)語(yǔ)言點(diǎn)和知識(shí)點(diǎn)的鞏固和掌握，在設(shè)計(jì)中出了一些習(xí)題。

本節(jié)課的主要任務(wù)是完成Section B 4a看圖寫(xiě)故事，訓(xùn)練寫(xiě)作能力；4b又通過(guò)情景模擬，合作交流，鞏固訓(xùn)練目標(biāo)語(yǔ)言，并能提高學(xué)生興趣；然后復(fù)習(xí)本單元的主要語(yǔ)言結(jié)構(gòu)和新的語(yǔ)言知識(shí)點(diǎn)，涉及語(yǔ)法、單詞的理解運(yùn)用，同時(shí)完成教材self check的練習(xí)。
