be strict 嚴(yán)格的
be strict with sb.(對(duì)某人嚴(yán)格要求), be strict in sth.(在某方面嚴(yán)格要求)。如：
Our teacher is very strict with us in our studies.
我們的老師在學(xué)習(xí)上對(duì)我們嚴(yán)格要求。

I have to learn to play the piano.
我不得不學(xué)習(xí)彈鋼琴。
用動(dòng)詞充當(dāng)賓語(yǔ)、狀語(yǔ)等，可用動(dòng)詞不定式，即to＋動(dòng)詞原形。本單元中出現(xiàn)的還有：go to the kitchen to get food for Grandpa (去廚房為爺爺拿食物)，it's best to do sth.(最好做某事)，help my mom (to) make dinner (幫助我媽媽做飯)。

祈使句是用來(lái)表示請(qǐng)求、命令、勸說(shuō)、號(hào)召、警告等意義的句式。祈使句的主語(yǔ)一般是第二人稱(chēng)you，但往往會(huì)省略；句末用句號(hào)或感嘆號(hào)。它的肯定式和否定式構(gòu)成如下：
1．肯定式：以動(dòng)詞原形開(kāi)頭。如：
①Look at that picture.看那幅圖。
②Be early！早點(diǎn)兒！
③Let him go.讓他走。
2．否定式：在動(dòng)詞原形前加don't。如：
①Don't look at the picture.不要看這幅圖。
②Don't be late.別遲到。
③Don't let him go.不要讓他走。
【注意】以let開(kāi)頭的祈使句的否定式還可以是let sb.not do...。如：
Let's not go to the museum.
我們不要去博物館。
祈使句經(jīng)常在句首或句末加上please，使語(yǔ)氣更委婉、禮貌。如：
Please come in./Come in, please.請(qǐng)進(jìn)。
