一、指示代詞
(一)定義:表示“這個,那個,這些,那些”等明確指示人或事物的代詞,稱為指示代詞。
指示代詞用法例句
this(these)用于指時間、空間
較近的事物This is y pencil. 這是我的鉛筆。
These are his brothers.
that(those)用于指時間、空間
較遠的食物That is his book. 那是他的書。
Are those your parents?那些是你的父母嗎?
(二)回答指示代詞應(yīng)注意以下幾點
1.在回答主語是this或that的一般疑問句或特殊疑問句時,通常用it來代替句中的this或that,以避免重復(fù)。
如:what’s this?—It’s an egg. 這是什么? 它是一個雞蛋。
2.在回答these 或those 的一般疑問句或特殊疑問句時,通常用they 來代替句中的these或those,以避免重復(fù)。
如: Are those apple trees? No, they aren’t. 那些是蘋果樹嗎? 不,它們不是。

二、名詞復(fù)數(shù)
在英語中,名詞分為可數(shù)名詞和不可數(shù)名詞兩大類?蓴(shù)名詞有單數(shù)和復(fù)數(shù)兩種形式。不可數(shù)名詞沒有復(fù)數(shù)形式,可數(shù)名詞變復(fù)數(shù)形式的規(guī)則如下:
(一)規(guī)則變化

由an和woan構(gòu)成的復(fù)合名詞,二者均變?yōu)閺?fù)數(shù)an doctor- en doctors

三、單數(shù)句變復(fù)數(shù)句的規(guī)則
把一個單數(shù)句變?yōu)閺?fù)數(shù)句,要遵循下列規(guī)則:一變,一刪,六不變。
一變:將單數(shù)句中的指示代詞、人稱代詞、物主代詞、名詞以及系動詞變?yōu)橄鄳?yīng)的復(fù)數(shù)形式。

一刪:將單數(shù)句中的不定冠詞a/an刪去。
六不變:保留句中的形容詞、定冠詞the、副詞、疑問詞、介詞短語和嘆詞等。
