狀語從句即指在主從復(fù)合句中用作狀語的從句。狀語從句根據(jù)其用途可分為時間狀語從句、地點狀語從句、原因狀語從句、結(jié)果狀語從句、目的狀語從句、條件狀語從句、方式狀語從句等：

When she saw it, she turned red. 她看到它時臉紅了。(時間狀語從句)

He was angry because I was late. 他很生氣因為我遲到了。 (原因狀語從句)

If you come, he?l be pleased. 如果你來，他會高興的。(條件狀語從句)

He was so angry that he couldn’t speak. 他氣得話都說不出來。(結(jié)果狀語從句)

Although he is poor, he’s happy. 雖然窮，但他仍很快樂。(讓步狀語從句)

You must do as I tell you. 你必須按我告訴你的去做。(方式狀語從句)

Put it where you can reach it. 把它放在你可以拿到的地方。(地點狀語從句)

Speak clearly so that they may understand you. 講清楚些，以便他們能理解你。(目的狀語從句)
