詞語(yǔ)用法:
again同back的意思相近，但用法不同：back與動(dòng)詞連用時(shí)，作為副詞，常指退回到前一個(gè)狀態(tài)，或是從與之前相反的狀態(tài)返回去，而again不可這樣說(shuō)。 again與動(dòng)詞連用時(shí)，表示“重復(fù)，再一次”。注意sell back和sell again的不同，前者是賣(mài)回給同一個(gè)人，后者是再次賣(mài)，賣(mài)給不同的人。當(dāng)動(dòng)詞本身指“退回，返回”的意思時(shí)，不可再用back，而可以用again加強(qiáng)“退回，返回”的意思。在副詞+動(dòng)詞+介詞結(jié)構(gòu)中，back和again都表示“回到上一狀態(tài)”。

again and again或time and again指“反復(fù)地，頻繁地”，now and again指“有時(shí)，不時(shí)”，only now and again指“難得地”；
“as much again as”指“加百分之一百，加一倍”，而“half as much again as”指“加百分之五十，加一半”。
These shoes cost me as much again as the last pair I bought.

adv.(副詞)
again主要用于修飾性動(dòng)態(tài)動(dòng)詞,基本意思是“重復(fù)”,即表示動(dòng)作又一次、再一次發(fā)生,重復(fù)發(fā)生; 也可表示“重新”,即恢復(fù)到原來(lái)的位置或狀態(tài)。引申可表示“回復(fù)”“反響”“響應(yīng)”。
again還可用于引出第二種情況或做進(jìn)一步論述,�？勺g為“再者”“此外”“何況”“況且”。
again可表示“增加…倍”,此時(shí),again放在比較連詞的前面,表數(shù)量的詞后面。
again一般位于句尾或句首。作“又一次”解時(shí)多在句尾,作“再者”解時(shí),多用于句首。
again不用于比較等級(jí)。
在實(shí)際應(yīng)用中, again常帶有感情色彩,如不耐煩、驚訝、出乎意料。例如:He has made a mistake again.他又犯了一個(gè)錯(cuò)誤。
