so far as ... is/are concerned，as far as ... is/are concerned，so far as concerns和as concerns都是“就...而言”的意思。注意后兩種表達(dá)中concerns用復(fù)數(shù)不用單數(shù)；
concern to后加不同動詞有不同目的。
He was concerned to hear of her ill health.
to hear表示原因
He was concerned to improve her health.
to improve表示目的
concern后加不同介詞時，表示不同意思。
He was concerned about the matter.
他為了這件事關(guān)心或擔(dān)心。

concern的基本意思是“與…有關(guān)”,指人〔物,事物〕之間的聯(lián)系與影響,引申可指“關(guān)心”“關(guān)切”“使擔(dān)憂”“使煩惱”。
concern作“與…有關(guān)”解時是及物動詞,接名詞、代詞或名詞從句作賓語�？捎糜诒粍咏Y(jié)構(gòu)。
concern作“擔(dān)心”“掛念”解時,主語一般是人,常與介詞about, for或over連用。
concern常與指人的反身代詞連用,表示“關(guān)心,關(guān)注”，其后常接介詞about, in或with。
concern后可接由that, where或how等關(guān)系代詞引導(dǎo)的從句。
concern的過去分詞concerned在句中常作后置定語。
