詞語用法:
表示“……的角色”可用“the role of ...”，一般不在其后面所接的名詞前加冠詞a/an。
He will appear in the role of mediator.
他會(huì)出庭，充當(dāng)調(diào)停者的角色。
role所指的角色一般指人扮演的角色或發(fā)揮的作用；
由于role與roll在語源上一樣，應(yīng)注意兩者的不同，極易混淆。roll指的是“卷，滾動(dòng)，名單”等。

role作“作用,職責(zé)”解時(shí),后面常接介詞“in〔of,for〕+名詞或動(dòng)名詞”。
