appreciate后可接that從句。美國人習(xí)慣在appreciate后直接加that，而英國人則習(xí)慣在that前加上the fact。

appreciate后不可接不定式，可以接動(dòng)名詞。

appreciate的基本意思是“高度評(píng)價(jià)某事物”,可表示對(duì)某事物理解深刻而能鑒賞或欣賞其價(jià)值,特別是美學(xué)價(jià)值,有時(shí)還可表示非常喜歡、非常感激的意思。引申還可表示“增值”。
appreciate作“感激”“重視”“體會(huì)到”解時(shí),是及物動(dòng)詞,可接名詞、動(dòng)名詞(但不接動(dòng)詞不定式)作賓語,也可接that從句�？捎糜诒粍�(dòng)結(jié)構(gòu)。appreciate作“增值”解時(shí)是不及物動(dòng)詞,作“使增值”解時(shí)是及物動(dòng)詞。
appreciate可接動(dòng)名詞,但不接動(dòng)詞不定式。例如:
我們將樂于再收到你的信。誤:We shall appreciate to hear from youagain.正:We shall appreciate hearing from youagain.
在美式英語中, appreciate可直接接that從句; 而在較正式的英國用法中, that從句常須用the fact來引導(dǎo)。例如:I appreciate the fact that this is not an easy decision to make.我意識(shí)到這不是一個(gè)容易作出的決定。
