　　Debate sth with sb 與某人爭某事
　　eg.I debated the idea in my mind until I fell asleep.

　　They were debating whether to go to the mountain or to the seaside.
　　他們正在爭論是去山上還是去海邊。
　　After a long debate the bill was passed in congress.
　　經(jīng)過長時間的辯論后，議案在國會通過了。

　　Additions are made to the list from time to time.
