英語釋義：unhappy or sorry
sad是最常用的詞啦，表示“傷心的，悲哀的；令人難過的，令人遺憾的”。來一個謝耳朵的金句：
One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad.
一個人哭是因為一個人很傷心。舉個栗子，我哭是因為別人很蠢，讓我傷心死了。
2. hurt
英語釋義：upset or unhappy
hurt作動詞表示“弄傷；傷害”，做形容詞就是“受傷的，傷心的”。
I feel very hurt by what you said.
你說的話讓我很傷心。
3.sorrowful
英語釋義：experiencing or marked by or expressing sorrow especially that associated with irreparable loss
要注意，sorrow主要用于失去親人或痛苦的經歷而引發(fā)的悲痛，sorrowful就表示“悲傷的；使人傷心的”。
A funeral is a sorrowful occasion.

這個詞比較少見吧，表示“憂沉的；使人悲傷的”。

這是因為mela-/melan-詞根表示黑，黑色總是與憂郁悲傷有關系吧。

要記住這個詞，只需要記住：
①console的動詞含義是“安慰；慰藉”；
②in-前綴表示“不、無、非”；
③-able是常見形容詞后綴，表示“能……的；可以……的”。
這個詞跟disconsolate（憂郁的；郁郁不樂的）很相似啊：dis-前綴表示“不，無”；ate-也可以做形容詞后綴。
