◆come & go v.
1. come 和 go 是一對反義詞，come(來) 所表示的方向是朝向說話者的位置，而go(去)所表示的方向是離開說話者的位置。如：come here(來這兒)，come to school(來上學(xué))，go there(去那兒)，go to school(去上學(xué))。
2. 兩者之后均可用 and 來代替一個(gè)表目的的不定式。如：
Come and have a drink. 來喝一杯。
He went and bought some envelopes. 他去買了些信封。
3. come 之后可接不定式，表示經(jīng)過某一過程而發(fā)生某一情況，常譯為“開始”、“漸漸地”、“終于”，但 go 不能這樣用。如：
How did you come to know it? 你怎么知道這事的?
Thus I came to like her. 就這樣我就慢慢喜歡她起來了。
4. come 和 go 之后均可接現(xiàn)在分詞，但有區(qū)別：
(1) come＋現(xiàn)在分詞，主要用來說明“來”的方式。如：
He came running to welcome us. 他跑過來歡迎我們。
She came crying to her mother. 她哭著向她媽媽走來。
It was already twelve when he came hurrying in. 他匆匆趕回來時(shí)已是12點(diǎn)了。
類例：come blowing (吹來)，come rushing (沖來) 等
(2) go＋現(xiàn)在分詞，表示“去做……”，這類詞組大多與體育或娛樂有關(guān)。如：
We often go swimming together. 我們常一道去游泳。
Let’s go boating this afternoon. 今天下午我們?nèi)澊伞?/p>
類例：go skating(去滑冰)，go skiing(去滑雪)，go dancing(去跳舞)，go climbing(去爬山)，go fishing(去釣魚)，go hunting
(去打獵)，go shopping(去買東西)，go sight-seeing(去游覽)等。
注：有時(shí) come 也可以用于以上場合，但它與 go 表示的方向不同。如：
Come swimming with us tomorrow. 明天同我們一道去游泳吧。
5. come 和 go 都可用作連系動詞，表示事物狀態(tài)的變化。
The handle has come loose. 這個(gè)把柄松了。
This envelope has come unstuck. 這封信開了。
The children went wild with excitement. 孩子們欣喜若狂。
兩者之后所接形容詞通常各有其特點(diǎn)，有時(shí)還可從好壞方面去區(qū)別：即 come 用于“好”的變化，go 用于“壞”的變化。如：
The meat has gone bad. 這肉變味了。
Something has gone wrong with the radio. 這收音機(jī)什么地方出了毛病。
Things will come right. 一切會順利地進(jìn)行。
Her dream has come true. 她的夢想實(shí)現(xiàn)了。
注：表示人的生理變化通常用 go。如：
go blind 變瞎 go deaf 變聾 go grey 兩鬢漸白
但是 go 通常不與 old, ill, tired 等連用。
6. come 有時(shí)可以表示參加到對方的活動之中去(即使這種運(yùn)動方向本身要求用 go)。如：
A：Will you come to see me tonight? 今晚來看我好嗎?
B：Yes, I’ll come. 好，我來。
A：Please come at once. Dinner is ready. 晚餐準(zhǔn)備好了，請快來。
B：OK, I’m coming. 好，我就來，(若用 Oh, I’m going. 對方可 能會理解為“噢，我要出去”)。
一般說來，在這種情況有以下三點(diǎn)需注意：
(1) 表示到聽話人(包括收信人)那兒去，通常用 come。如：
I’ll come to see you this Saturday. 我這周星期六來看你。
(2) 邀請對方一起去某地，可用 come 或 go。一般說來，用 come含有一種自己決定要去的意味，而用 go 則含有一種請求和商量的意味。如：
Would you like to come [go] with us? 你和我們一起去好嗎?
(3) 表示“我同你一起去”這樣的意義時(shí)，可用 come 或 go。如：
I will come [go] with you. 我和你一起去。
