不定式的進行式的概念：

表示的動作或狀態(tài)在謂語動詞表示的動作或狀態(tài)發(fā)生時正在進行。如：They pretended to be working very hard. 他們假裝正在努力工作。

不定式進行式用法歸納：

不定式進行式的基本形式為to be doing，其主要用法如下： 　　
1、表示同時進行，即表示謂語動作同時發(fā)生且正在進行的動作。
如：He pretended to be studying. 他假裝在學習。 　　
I happened to be standing next to him when he collapsed. 他倒下的時候我恰巧站在他旁邊。 　　
2、表示將來，正如可用進行時態(tài)表示將來意義一樣，不定式的進行式有時也可表示將來。
如：I hope to be staying with you. 我希望和你住在一起。 　　
The old man seems to be dying. 這老人似乎要死了。 　　
I'm quite pleased to be leaving this country. 就要離開這個國家我很高興。 　　
3、表示一般情況，即看不出動作的先后關系，而是表示一種情況或現(xiàn)象。
如：I noticed that he seemed to be smoking a lot. 我發(fā)現(xiàn)他似乎煙癮很大。 　　
Just to be doing something was a help. 做點事是有益處的。 　　
You are too young to be meeting young men. 你太小，不能交男朋友。

不定式的進行式用法拓展：

不定式進行式表示正在進行的與謂語動詞同時發(fā)生的動作，它在句子中可以用作以下成分：　　
一、用作主語：
如：It's nice to be sitting here with you. 和你一起坐在這兒真好。　　
Just to be doing something was a help. 做點事是有益處的。　　
二、用作表語：
如：He seems to be saying something. 他似乎在說什么�！　�
Things seem to be going on smoothly. 似乎一切都很順利。　　
He seems to be following us. 他似乎在跟著我們�！　�
三、用作賓語：
如：You won't want to be washing at this time of night. 夜里這時候你不要洗澡�！　�
I hope to be staying with you. 我希望和你住在一起�！　�
四、用作定語：
如：You've no need to be fearing. 你沒有必要害怕�！　�
Well, it's time to be making for home. 好，是回家的時候了。　　
五、用作狀語：
如：You are lucky to be going by air. 你挺幸運的，能乘飛機走。
You are too young to be meeting young men. 你太小，不能交男朋友�！　�
六、用作賓補：
如：Let's be moving, we're wasting time. 我們走吧，我們在浪費時間。　　
They thought her to be working in the library. 他們以為她在圖書館學習�！　�
七、用作主補：
如：He believed her to be telling the truth. 他相信她講的是真話。　　
He is believed to be going to the U.S.A. 據(jù)信他正在前往美國。　　
He is thought to be hiding in the woods. 人們認為他躲在林子里。
