Ⅲ. 重點：
本單元過去分詞作定語和狀語的用法。過去分詞可以作名詞的前置定語，也可以作名詞的后置定語。當過去分詞作狀語時，要注意其邏輯主語的問題。
另外要學(xué)習(xí)同源賓語的用法，如：( page 2 Unit 13 )
Einstein ( lived ) the rest of his ( life ) quietly in the USA . ( 愛因斯坦在美國靜靜地度過了余生 ) 。其中賓語 life 與 live 是同源的名詞，即同源賓語 ( cognate object ) 。這是英語課本中十分常見的語法現(xiàn)象，這種賓語用在某些不及物動詞之后，并往往有定語修飾，現(xiàn)舉例如下：
1 . My grandmother lives a happy life in the countryside . 我的祖母在鄉(xiāng)下過著幸福的生活。
2 . Premier Zhou Enlai fought a hard fight against “Gang of Four” . 周恩來總理與“四人幫”進行了一場艱苦的斗爭。
3 . He breathed his last breath last night . 昨天夜里他咽了最后一口氣。
4 . He laughed a hearty laugh at the good news . 聽到好消息后他開心地笑了。
5 . Chris will sing us a pop song . 克莉斯將給我們唱首流行歌曲。
6 . Her son died a hero\'s death in the war . 她兒子在戰(zhàn)爭中英勇犧牲了。
7 . She sleeps a sweet sleep only on Sundays . 只有在周日她才能甜美地睡一覺。
8 . I dreamed a pleasant dream last night . 昨天夜里我做了個愉快的夢。
9 . My father signed a deep sign . 我父親深深地嘆了一口氣。
