Lin Xilei’s Appeal: Do Not Abandon your Pets

Different from many super stars who keep purebred(純種的) pets, Lin Xilei(林熙蕾) , who is always fond of dogs very much, took back a mixed dog from an animal shelter(動物收容所) not long ago. The pitiful looks of the abandoned dogs made Lin’s heart ache. To many people, dogs may be just pets or companions. They buy one on impulse when they want it, but then abandon it when they become bored. So Lin appeals to (呼吁) people for careful consideration (三思) before they decide to keep a pet. Once they keep one, they should look after it forever, and never abandon it.

In Taiwan, Lin has taken back some wandering dogs(流浪犬) from the street. In order to approach such dogs, she usually gave them some food. Then she took them to a pet hospital for physical examination. She also managed to find the owner of a dog through the Internet. She told the keeper repeatedly, “When 高考 you do not want to keep it, you can bring it back to me. But do not abandon it!”

Actually, all of Lin’s family members are lovers of dogs. Her younger sister also took back a wandering dog from a pet shelter in America a few years ago. She says that there are many such shelters in America. 林熙蕾呼吁不要遺棄寵物

跟很多大明星養(yǎng)純種寵物不同，林熙蕾算是演藝圈少數(shù)的異類了，一直很愛狗狗的她不久前才剛從動物收容所帶回一只米克斯(mixed，混種狗) 。看到那些被遺棄的小狗的樣子，林熙蕾覺得很心疼。可能對于很多人來說狗狗只是寵物、玩伴，喜歡的時候就一時興起買回來，嫌棄了就丟掉。所以蕾蕾呼吁大家在養(yǎng)寵物之前一定要想清楚再養(yǎng)，一旦養(yǎng)了就一定要養(yǎng)它一輩子，千萬不要遺棄寵物。

在臺灣，林熙蕾在街上撿拾過一些流浪犬。她通常先拿一些食物做誘餌接近狗，再將它們送往寵物醫(yī)院檢查健康狀況。她也曾通過網(wǎng)絡為一只狗找主人，狗送出門前，她再三叮嚀收養(yǎng)的主人：“如果你萬一不想要它了，可以再送回來給我，千萬不要丟掉。”

林熙蕾全家都是愛狗一族，她妹妹幾年前也在美國收容所領回一只流浪犬。她說，美國的動物收容所很多，還有專門的網(wǎng)站方便很多想要收養(yǎng)的人直接聯(lián)絡，讓流浪狗都有一個溫暖的家。
