◆angry adj.

1. 表示對某人生氣，一般用介詞 with (有時也用 at)。如：

The teacher got angry with [at] me. 老師對我生氣了。

有的詞書認(rèn)為：用 with 表示心中感到生氣，而用 at 則表示怒氣流露于外表，但總的說來此時還是用 with 的場合較多。但值得注意的是，不要按漢語意思，用介詞 to。如：

她對他生氣了。

正：She was angry with him.

誤：She was angry to him.

2. 表示對某事生氣，根據(jù)情況可用介詞at, about, over 等。如：

What is he angry about? 他為什么生氣?

He was angry at what you said. 他對你說的話很生氣。

He was angry at being delayed (about the delay). 他因被耽擱(因耽擱)而生氣。

People are angry over rising prices. 人們對上漲的價格感到憤怒。

注：有美國英語有時可用 with。如：

She was angry with (=at) his present. 她對他的禮物生氣。

3. 表示生氣的原因，一般用介詞 for。如：

I am angry with you for your conduct. 你的行為使我生氣。

He was angry with himself for having made such a foolish

mistake. 他為自己犯了這樣一件愚蠢的錯誤而怨恨自己。

◆announce v.

表示“宣布”、“通告”等，通常為及物動詞，其后可接名詞或that-從句作賓語，但不接雙賓語；要表示向某人宣布，用介詞 to。如：

他向他們宣布了他的決定。

正：He announced his decision to them.

正：He announced to them his decision.

誤：He announced them his decision.
