圣代無(wú)隱者，英靈盡來(lái)歸。
遂令東山客，不得顧采薇。
既至金門遠(yuǎn)，孰云吾道非？
江淮度寒食，京洛縫春衣。
置酒長(zhǎng)安道，同心與我逢。
行當(dāng)浮桂棹，未幾拂荊扉。
遠(yuǎn)樹(shù)帶行客，孤城當(dāng)落暉。
吾謀適不用，勿謂知音稀。
【注解】：
１、東山客：指東晉謝寧，曾隱居?xùn)|山。
２、采薇：指殷末伯夷、叔齊采薇西山。
３、遠(yuǎn)：這里指不能入金馬門。
４、寒食：節(jié)令名，清明前一天或兩天。
【韻譯】：
政治清明時(shí)代絕無(wú)隱者存在，
為朝政服務(wù)有才者紛紛出來(lái)。
連你這個(gè)象謝安的山林隱者，
也不再效法伯夷叔齊去采薇。
你應(yīng)試落弟不能待詔金馬門，
那是命運(yùn)不濟(jì)誰(shuí)說(shuō)吾道不對(duì)？
去年寒食時(shí)節(jié)你正經(jīng)過(guò)江淮，
滯留京洛又縫春衣已過(guò)一載。
我們又在長(zhǎng)安城外設(shè)酒餞別，
同心知己如今又要與我分開(kāi)。
你行將駕駛著小船南下歸去，
不幾天就可把自家柴門扣開(kāi)。
遠(yuǎn)山的樹(shù)木把你的身影遮蓋，
夕陽(yáng)余輝映得孤城艷麗多彩。
你暫不被錄用純屬偶然的事，
別以為知音稀少而徒自感慨！
【評(píng)析】：
??這是一首勸慰友人落第的詩(shī)。
??落第還鄉(xiāng)之人，心情自然懊喪。作為摯友，多方給予慰籍，使其覺(jué)得知音有人是
極為重要的。全詩(shī)著意在這個(gè)主旨上加以烘染，有敘事、有寫景、有抒情，有感慨，
有勉勵(lì)。寫景清新，抒情柔蜜，感慨由衷，勉勵(lì)摯敬，吟來(lái)令人振奮。

after failing in an examination
in a happy reign there should be no hermits;
the wise and able should consult together....
so you, a man of the eastern mountains,
gave up your life of picking herbs
and came all the way to the gate of gold but you found your devotion unavailing.
...to spend the day of no fire on one of the southern rivers,
you have mended your spring clothes here in these northern cities.
i pour you the farewell wine as you set out from the capital soon i shall be left behind here by my bosomfriend.
in your sail-boat of sweet cinnamon-wood
you will float again toward your own thatch door,
led along by distant trees
to a sunset shining on a far-away town.
...what though your purpose happened to fail,
doubt not that some of us can hear high music.
