The Last Patriot of the Island Miki!
　　"I am the last patriot of the Island of Miki left in the world!" Said the parrot from behind the partition that blocked people seeing that he was not a person.
　　"My island was once a paradise. But as is often the case you find great paradoxes in paradise. The paradox on my island was that our pastime was not eating pastries or singing patriotic songs, but destroying each other with our passionatelypartisan attitudes for how our island should develop. Some participants thought we could profit from tourism and patent the name of our island. Others wanted to set up patrols to keep outsiders away. These two sides could not form partnerships. They could not agree on any parameters. And this disagreement became a parasite that ate at the hearts of our people until we destroyed each other. I myself an paralyzed fromthe battle that followed on the beautiful pastures that were once filled with flowers! On that day they ran with blood."
　　"This may sound pathetic. But I am now just a parlor joke. And no one believes my story. They cannot see that, just as happened on my island, countries are now heading towards destruction because people cannot agree with each other. If only they would listen to my story and learn from our mistakes."
　　The crowd gasped as the partiton was taken away and they realized that the voice was that of a parrot. As for the parrot, he just looked down, even sadder that his story would not be heard because no one would believe a talking parrot, the last patriot of the Island of Miki.

米基島上最后一個(gè)愛(ài)國(guó)者 　
　“我是世界上剩下的米基島上最后一個(gè)愛(ài)國(guó)者！”鸚鵡從分隔物后面說(shuō)，由于有分隔物擋著，人們看不出說(shuō)話(huà)者不是一個(gè)人。
　　“我這座島曾經(jīng)是個(gè)天堂。但是正如經(jīng)常發(fā)生的那樣，你會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)天堂里有很多自相矛盾的事情。我的島上自相矛盾的事情是，我們的消遣不是吃酥皮糕點(diǎn)或者唱愛(ài)國(guó)歌曲，而是相互殘殺，因?yàn)閷?duì)于如何發(fā)展我們這個(gè)小島，我們都充滿(mǎn)激情但屬于不同黨派。有些參與者認(rèn)為我們可以通過(guò)旅游業(yè)賺錢(qián)并獲得我們這個(gè)島名的專(zhuān)利，其他人則想成立巡邏隊(duì)以防止外來(lái)者的入侵。雙方就是不能結(jié)成伙伴關(guān)系，在任何范圍內(nèi)他們都不能達(dá)到一直意見(jiàn)，而這種分歧最后成了一種寄生蟲(chóng)，它吞噬著我們的心，直到我們相互毀滅。我自己則在隨后的一場(chǎng)戰(zhàn)斗中癱瘓了，戰(zhàn)場(chǎng)是一個(gè)美麗曾經(jīng)長(zhǎng)滿(mǎn)鮮花的牧場(chǎng)，那天他們渾身是血地跑著。”
　　這聽(tīng)起來(lái)可能有些可悲，但我現(xiàn)在只是一個(gè)酒館的笑柄，誰(shuí)也不相信我說(shuō)的故事。他們看不見(jiàn)許多國(guó)家就像我的島上發(fā)生的那樣正因?yàn)榇蠹矣^點(diǎn)不一致而走向毀滅。他們要是聽(tīng)我的故事，從我們的錯(cuò)誤中吸取教訓(xùn)就好了。“
　　分隔物被拿掉的時(shí)候人們倒抽了一口冷氣，他們發(fā)現(xiàn)聲音是一只鸚鵡發(fā)出來(lái)的。至于那只鸚鵡，他只是低著頭，他的故事沒(méi)有人聽(tīng)，因?yàn)檎l(shuí)也不愿意相信一只會(huì)說(shuō)話(huà)的鸚鵡——米基島上最后一個(gè)愛(ài)國(guó)者，為此他更感傷心。
