Students know the eaning of “there be” very well, and they can use the single for very well, but when they use the plural for, they always use there is s, or there are …(single for of the word) A lot of is the sae eaning of lots of. Students always forget the “s” behind lot. After exercise, I find that I should tell the “a lot of ” “l(fā)ot of” “soe” can connect uncountable and countable words. However “any” only connect with countable words.
