This computer is the most expensive in this shop. 這種是這家商店里最貴的。
2. 當最高級形容詞用作表語且不帶比較范圍時，有時可以不用 the：
This room is (the) best. 這個房間最好。
但是，當處于表語位置的最高級帶有比較范圍或限定性修飾語時，其前的the通常不能省去：
This room is the best in this hotel. 這個房間是這家賓館里最好的。
3. 如果是對同一個人或事物在不同情況下進行對比，那么處于表語位置的最高級形容詞前不能用 the。比較：
He’s busiest on Sunday. 他星期天最忙。(他與自己平時比，不用 the)
He’s the busiest of all the people. 在所有人當中他最忙。(他與別人比，故用 the)
