1. devote sth to (doing) sth 把時(shí)間(錢，精力等)獻(xiàn)給某事物。如：

2. devote oneself to sb (doing sth)

(1) 獻(xiàn)身于或致力于(做)某事。如：

(2) 專用于。如：

This dictionary is devoted to explaining word usage. 這本詞典是解釋詞的用法的。

(3) 喜歡，疼愛。如：

She is devoted to her children. 她疼愛她的孩子。
