Work: 工作
- French work 35h /week 法國(guó)人一周工作35小時(shí)。 - By default you have 5 weeks off every year. The more experienced you get and the more additional days you get off. 一年有五周缺席的機(jī)會(huì)。越有經(jīng)驗(yàn)?zāi)愕募倨谠介L(zhǎng)。 - When you are paid monthly, you get an extra day off every month 如果你拿月薪，你可以每個(gè)月額外多放一天假。 - People can retire at age of 62 大家62歲退休。 - EDF (Public Electricity) / SNCF (Public Train Transportation) workers retire at 55 國(guó)家供電系統(tǒng)，公共鐵路交通工人55歲退休。。 - When arriving at work you need to greet everyone that works with you. Handshake/Bise depending of the gender. Can take a long time if you are working in a big department. 到公司的時(shí)候你需要和每個(gè)同事打招呼。根據(jù)性別行握手、貼面禮。如果你工作的部門人很多這可能要花很長(zhǎng)時(shí)間。 - All businesses are closed on Sunday (vary a bit for touristy spots) 周日所有商店都關(guān)門（有些旅游景點(diǎn)可能不一樣）。
Transportation: 交通方面
- Pedestrians seem to cross a street wherever/whenever they want 行人想什么時(shí)候，想在哪過(guò)橫道都隨他們。 - You can travel to many countries either by train or plane for less than $100 花不到100歐你可以乘火車或者飛機(jī)去很多地方。 - Motorways are private in France and you need to pay to use them (generally expensive) 在法國(guó)摩托車道是私人的，想用的話要花錢（都很貴。） - You need to drive at least 20 hours with an instructor prior being able to pass your driving license 想要拿到駕照你要和教練至少開20個(gè)小時(shí)車。
Drink: 喝的 - You got to get read wine with your cheese, that's a fact! 你需要就著紅酒吃奶酪，這是事實(shí)。 - People drink aperitif prior dinner (1 or 2), it could be any type of long drink. Generally done when having people over or during weekend. 在晚飯之前要和開胃酒（1-2杯），一般來(lái)說(shuō)有人拜訪或者周末的時(shí)候會(huì)多喝一些。 - Also works after dinner, digestif (help you digest, well that what we think). Generally sweeter alcohol, just one glass. 晚飯后也喝酒，餐后酒（我們是這么想的，幫你消化）。一般來(lái)說(shuō)更甜一些，只喝一杯。 - French do not drink red wine outside dinner 法國(guó)人只在晚餐的時(shí)候喝紅酒。
Food: 食物方面
- Meals take place usually at the same time everyday. People would rarely eat between meals and generally wait meal time even if hungry 通常每天用餐時(shí)間一致。人們很少在每一餐之間吃東西，即使餓了也會(huì)等到開飯時(shí)間再吃。 - Dinner time is usually around 8pm 晚上8點(diǎn)左右吃晚飯。 - When invited for a dinner, people usually bring flowers and wine 收到邀請(qǐng)的時(shí)候，大家經(jīng)常帶一些花和紅酒。 - It's a common thing to have a 4 courses meal: Starter + main dish + cheese + desert. (Lunch & Dinner) 每一餐基本都是4道：前菜+主菜+奶酪+甜點(diǎn)（午餐和晚餐）。 - Some catholic people would do a cross on the bread prior cutting it 一些天主教徒會(huì)在切面包之前在胸前劃十字。 - We do not put bread up side down on the table as to respect it. From the expression: Il faut travailler pour gagner son pain = need to work to earn the bread 為了表示對(duì)面包的尊重我們不會(huì)把它顛倒著放。表示：面包得來(lái)不易。 - Kids' snack could be just spreading butter on bread and powdering powder chocolate on top of it. Or take a piece of baguette and push a piece of chocolate bar in the middle. 把黃油淋在面包上，再撒上可可粉可能就是孩子的零食了�；蛘吣靡粋�(gè)法棍中間夾一塊巧克力。 - Pregnant women eat unpasteurized cheese 孕婦吃生奶酪。
Restaurant/Bar: 餐廳/酒吧
- Tips are not a thing in France. Few euros are usually the norm if any are left depending of the price of the meal (never a percentage) 在法國(guó)小費(fèi)都不算什么。根據(jù)菜的價(jià)錢每個(gè)人都會(huì)留下幾歐元的小費(fèi)。 - You need to ask the waiter/waitress for the bill or anything you want. They do not check on you every time 你需要問(wèn)服務(wù)員要賬單或者問(wèn)其他你需要的事情。他們不會(huì)每時(shí)每刻都替你檢查。 - When asking for a coffee, you are served with an espresso 當(dāng)你要咖啡的時(shí)候，端上來(lái)的都是濃咖啡。 - You can drink in a bar with your parents when you are 16 16歲的時(shí)候可以在父母陪同下在酒吧喝酒。
