一、教材分析
The emphasis of this period will be placed on the important neords, expressions in the part of Vocabulary and Reading. And get the students to find out the meaning of the text, then give some explanations about them , and offer practice to make students master the important words of usage.To consolidate the contents of the reading passage , students should be required to retell the text in their own words .In order to arouse students’ interest , the teacher can hold a competition.
二、目標
1.知識目標
Get the students to learn and grasp the following important useful neords and expressions in the part:
Learn the language in this part and train the students in the reading comprehension.
2.能力目標
1) Improve the Ss’ ability in reading.?
2) Train the Ss to grasp the meaning of the words from the context.?
3.情感目標
Learning to love the new high school life and forming positive attitude towards language learning in new surroundings.
三、教學重難點
重點：let the students learn how to introduce their school and their school life.
難點：now different school systems of different countries.
四、學情分析
因為這是入高中后的第一節(jié)，學生們對于高中生活的一切都充滿了好奇和興趣，可以利用學生們的這種心理，選擇一些和本內容相關且學生感興趣的話題進行探討。
五、教學方法
學案導學：見學案
新授教學基本環(huán)節(jié)：預習檢查 總結疑惑; 情景導入 展示目標；合作探究 精講點撥；反思總結 當堂檢測；發(fā)導學案 布置預習。
六、前準備
1 學生的前準備：預習，初步理解，查閱資料，嘗試練習。
2 教師的教學準備：多媒體制作，前預習學案，后延伸拓展學案，分好小組。
七、時安排 四十五分鐘
八、教學過程
Step1 Check(預習檢查 總結疑惑)
檢查落實學生的預習情況并了解學生的疑惑，使教學有了針對性。
Step 2. Introduction
（因為這是入高中后的第一節(jié)，所以在正式開始進行教材內容之前，有必要首先介紹一下幾點：介紹自己；介紹教材；介紹自己的教學方式等。）
Step 3. Pre-reading activities Lead in the study of the text by carrying out the activities 1and 2 of this part. (讀前活動是閱讀項目的準備和鋪墊，能為整個項目的學習創(chuàng)造氣氛，激發(fā)興趣以及指出思維方向；更為重要的是，它能訓練聯(lián)想、對比和歸納等認知策略。通過做選擇題學習生詞，培養(yǎng)學生用英語進行初步思考的能力，為正面閱讀做準備，應引起我們教師的重視。)
Step 4. Fast-reading Ask the students to read the passage quickly and then do activity 3. (訓練學生快速獲取知識的能力)
Step 3. Detailed-reading
A. Decide if the following sentences are true or false?
1. Li ang lives in our capital, Beijing.
2. It is his first day at Junior High school.
3. Li ang knows why his new school is good.
4. s. Shen is very enthusiastic to her students.
5. Li ang likes s. Shen’s attitude, but the others don’t.
B. Do activities 4, 5, 6.
(了解重點細節(jié)，尋找相關信息，學會歸納段落大意，并通過略讀、詳讀的方式，培養(yǎng)各種閱讀技能。)
C. Analysis of the passage :Which is the best summary of Li ang’s opinion about the new school?
Step 5. Post-reading Choose the answers with the same meaning as the sentences from the text.

（通過替換句子的形式讓學生對中的重要語言點引起注意，并對日后的講解做好鋪墊，同時也是和高考題型相對應）
Step 6. Discuss
The students work in teams and encourage them to give their opinions and finally two teams report their opinions to the whole class.
(這是利用已知信息構想和創(chuàng)設新信息，開放性答案的使用，能夠培養(yǎng)學生的想象能力和語言組織能力，為Homework做好準備。)
Step 7. Homework
Write a one-hundred-word article to describe your senior high school, such as your classroom, your English teacher and your lessons.
九、 教學反思
本的設計采用了前下發(fā)導學案，學生預習本節(jié)內容，找出自己迷惑的地方。堂上師生主要解決重難點，疑點，考點，易混點，最后進行當堂檢測，后進行拓展延伸，以達到提高堂效率的目的。同時，結合初中的語言知識和技能，組織學生表達自己的觀點；盡量聯(lián)系高中新學校的實際情況，組織學生用所學知識表達學校生活。
