1) 單詞與短語mind,dish,task, poster,yard, dish, not at all 一點也不, turn down調(diào)節(jié)(收音機等)使音量變小, right away 立刻;馬上.

5. mind用法:請求別人做某事,或請求他人的許可。
1)Would you mind…?和Do you mind…? 用于詢問或請求別人做某事,或請求他人的許可。
mind后面可以用V-ing形式,復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu) one’s doing或if引導(dǎo)的從句。
(1)Would/Do you mind doing sth.?
*Would you mind doing the dishes? =Do you mind doing the dishes?
= Please do the dishes. 請把餐具洗了好嗎? (表示請求別人做事)
。猈ould you mind turning down the radio?
= Do you mind turning down the radio? 請把收音機關(guān)小點好嗎?
(2) Would/Do you mind not doing sth.?
*Would you mind not playing baseball here? 別在這打棒球好嗎?
*Would you mind not smoking here?
*Would you mind not wearing those old jeans?
(3) Would/Do you mind one’s doing sth.? = Do you mind if sb. does sth.?
*Would you mind my smoking here?
= Do you mind if I smoke here? 我在這里吸煙你介意嗎?
*Would you mind my asking you a question?
= Do you mind if I ask you a question? 我問你一個問題好嗎?
*Would you mind my opening the window?
=Do you mind my opening the window?
= Can I open the window? 我可以開窗嗎?
注意:
在美國口語中還可以用Would you mind me doing sth.?表達(dá),但是在書面表達(dá)中要用my。
Would you mind me using your car? 我用一下你的車好嗎?
2)答語:在回答帶有 mind的問句時要注意:yes或no 都是針對mind選用的。Yes 表示介意,在乎,意思是不讓對方做某事;No表示不介意,不在乎,意思是允許對方做某事。有時也可用O同意對方的請求。
介意: 不介意:
Yes, I do. No, not at all.
Yes, please don’t. No, do please.
Yes, you’d better not. Sorry, I’ll……(I’ll do it right away.)
Sorry, but I do. O, I’ll……(I’ll get up no)
