一、章節(jié)分析 （Section Analysis）
(一)綜述
本章節(jié)是語言運用部分。通過聽，說，寫方面的訓練，提高學生語言詞匯方面的能力，加強他們運用語言知識來表達思想感情的能力。
（二）目標
1．Listening
幫助學生聽懂并學會使用數(shù)據(jù)陳述或支持自己的觀點。
2．Speaking
幫助學生學會模擬各種角色來談論某話題。
3．Writing
1）學會理解圖畫所要表達的意思，并滲入自己的想象。
2）學會模仿范文，寫出較為成熟的想象性作文。
3）能夠完整、連貫、生動地完成想象性的描述。
（三）重點和難點
1．Listening
1）確保掌握如下詞匯: leisure, bar chart, pie chart；
2) 理解各種圖表及其優(yōu)點；
3）學會整理數(shù)據(jù)，從中得出結(jié)論，并用恰當?shù)恼Z言進行闡述。
2．Speaking
學會通過模擬各種角色討論某話題，并學會在小組成員表現(xiàn)各異的情況下如何分工合作順利完成討論。
3．Writing
觀察圖畫,運用想象進行寫作。
二、設計（Teaching Designs）

Listening?Pre-listening
在聽之前，創(chuàng)設環(huán)境，要求學生明確聽力任務（看懂圖表并聽出數(shù)據(jù)），掃清在聽力材料中出現(xiàn)的困難詞匯(leisure, bar chart, pie chart)，提高聽的效果。
?While-listening
增加生生互動的機會，鼓勵peer correction。
?Post-listening
要求學生小組活動，根據(jù)聽出的數(shù)據(jù)，口頭總結(jié)所聽到的材料。

Speaking學生比較習慣從自己的角度來討論話題，而本課的目的則是引導學生模擬其他的角色來討論某個話題，培養(yǎng)學生換位思考的習慣，擴大其視野，拓寬其思路。
Writing?仔細閱讀范文，觀察范文中的寫作順序和所用詞匯句型。
?看清圖畫所要表達的意思及其內(nèi)在聯(lián)系。
?理清寫作的空間或時間順序。
?模擬范文進行寫作。
?寫作完成后進行小組交流，以獲得更多信息。
?可以分小組將所寫的內(nèi)容做成口頭廣告進行匯報。

說明：
建議聽說結(jié)合：在說的基礎上，引入聽的內(nèi)容，要求學生掌握note-taking的技巧。
Listening
1Pre-listening
1) Get familiar with the new words (leisure, bar chart, pie chart).
2) Introduce different charts and their functions.
(建議讓學生自己先觀察后總結(jié))
3) Introduce the task to the students, that is, to understand the charts and to note down the figures.
2While listening
1)Listen to the passage, and fill in the blanks.
2)Check the answers with the students.
3)Emphasize different functions of different charts.
3 Post-listening
After the listening, ask students to draw some conclusions from the listening material and comment on the topic, with the given guidance.
(此環(huán)節(jié)建議以小組討論形式進行，先列出提綱后再完善語言，也可在課后布置為寫作作業(yè)。)

Writing
Step One Pre-writing --- to introduce the rules of writing an imaginative story.
?Ask the students to read the passage C2 on page 95 and try to understand what an imaginative article is like.
?Ask the students to read the sample passage on page 106 and underline something worth imitating in the passage, esp. some words and phrases.
Step Two While-writing
?Students write the story with the words offered on page 106 (below).
?Students should pay special attention to the sequence of the article, as well as the details.
?Students should be encouraged to have imaginative thinking.
Step Three Post-writing
?Students read out their articles in groups, trying to get new ideas from others.
