Li Xiang Runs her own Magazine

Recently, many women artists have become interested in running online magazines. Xu Jinglei(徐靜蕾) and Chen Luyu(陳魯豫) have set such examples. Now Li Xiang(李湘) is also having a try. It is reported that Ms Li has invested a large sum of money in her magazine which is focused on women’s feelings and emotions. She has asked such famous writers as Guo Jingming(郭敬明), Meizi(梅子) and Wang Xiaofeng(王小峰) to write for her magazine and promised a good pay in return. In the first issue, Guo Jingming published a story about the girls born in the 1980s.

As chief editor, Ms Li is responsible for various kinds of work, such as theme planning, editing, writing and management. She says that she will proofread everything in the magazine because “a chief editor must be responsible for its quality and can’t make any mistakes, even in spelling.”

however, many online readers still remember clearly the spelling mistakes made by Li Xiang time and again, saying that there is a spelling mistake in every 50 Chinese characters in one of her blog articles.
